Originally exclusive for Postpaid subscribers, local telco giant Smart recently made the 5G Rocket WiFi available even for Prepaid users. To recap, the Rocket WiFi is the first 5G-capable pocket WiFi available in the Philippine market. It is designed to superfast speeds and ultra-low latency designed for streaming HD videos seamlessly, playing mobile games without lag, and make clear video calls without buffering.
The 5G Rocket WiFi highlights a 2.4-inch
LCD TFT color touchscreen display, Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem (5G (Sub-6
GHz n1, n3, n20, n28, n41, n77, n78), and 5,000mAh battery for all-day
connectivity. Smart shared that this can connect up to 15 WiFi-capable
smartphones, tablets, laptops, and more. As of April 29, 2021, Smart's 5G
network can be accessed in over 2,600 sites nationwide.
