The Samsung Galaxy F52 5G is expected later this month, but one Weibo user already had a close encounter with the phone and provided a few photos of it along with price. The phone will reportedly cost CNY 2,000, which is around US$ 310/€ 255. This is a good deal less than the Galaxy A52 5G, which goes for CNY 3,000 in China and € 430 in Europe.
Interestingly, this phone (model number
SM-E5260) has a punch hole selfie camera in the upper right corner rather than
the center like current Galaxy models. Around the back there is a quad camera
with an LED flash in the upper left corner, just as we saw in the photos from
TENAA.
The Chinese regulator reveals that the F52
will have 16MP selfie camera and a 64MP main camera on the back. Further
details include a 6.57” LCD with 1080p+ resolution, 8GB of RAM, 128GB storage
and a microSD slot.
As you can see in the photos, there’s a
3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom, next to the USB-C port. The 4,350mAh
battery will support 25W fast charging (according to 3C data). The phone
recently passed through the Google Play Console, which listed a Snapdragon 750G
chipset and Android 11. This means that the Galaxy F52 5G will use the same
chip as the A52 5G, though it targets a lower price point. Whether it will be
available globally is an open question.
