Huawei just announced on its Facebook page the availability MateBook Family 2021 namely MateBook 14, MateBook D 15, and MateBook X Pro. In line with the company's design philosophy, the new MateBook D 15 2021 shows a minimalist design with clean, refined lines running through the metal body. It comes in two elegant colorways: Space Grey and Mystic Silver.
In front, this boasts of a 15.6-inch IPS
FullView display with a TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification and TÜV
Rheinland Flicker Free Certification. Aside from that, it comes with a
180-degree hinge and is equipped with DDR4 RAM.
Other features include WiFi 6, a USB 2.0
port, a single USB 3.0 port, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C
port, and Bluetooth 5.1. Note that it has two variants, one with a 10th Gen
Intel processor and the other has an 11th Gen Intel processor.
The next item in this series is the
MateBook 14 that sports a 2K FullView display with a 90 percent screen-to-body
ratio and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification. Since it has a 3:2 aspect
ratio, Huawei presumes that this is best suited for productivity tasks.
This laptop is powered by an 11th
Generation processor, coupled with 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and 512GB of internal
SSD storage. Moreover, Huawei packed this with a 56Wh battery capacity for 11
hours of long battery life and 65W super-fast charging support.
Since the MateBook X Pro 2021 is
considered the most premium among the bunch, it comes with a premium metallic
lightweight build and a fingerprint reader on the power button. Huawei said
that it's primarily designed for business use so they made it lightweight and
portable. It is only 14.6mm thick and
weighs 1.33kg so you can easily bring it anywhere.
In front, there's a 3.9-inches IPS
FullView touchscreen display with a 3K resolution, 3:2 screen ratio with 91
percent screen-to-body ratio. Also, Huawei said that this laptop can last up to
11 hours of regular work on a single charge and it has a compact 65W pocket
charger.
