On schedule, ASUS Philippines announced the arrival of the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14. It has two models that are both 2-in-1 laptops with touchscreens. Both devices have a 360-degree ErgoLift hinge that gives the VivoBook Flip 14 many modes of operation from the traditional laptop mode, tent mode, tablet mode, and stand mode. This gives the users the versatility to work in any mode they choose. The ErgoLift hinge is rated and tested to over 20,000 open/close cycles. This design also tilts the keyboard automatically for better typing and airflow.
The VivoBook Flip 14 TP470 model features
a 14-inch FHD IPS touch screen with 45 percent NTSC coverage, an 82 percent
screen-to-body ratio, and stylus support. Inside, it has either an Intel Core
i7-1165G7 or Core i5-1135G7 processor, either an Intel Iris Xe Max graphics or
Intel Iris Xe graphics, up to 16GB LPDDR4X, and 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD.
It also has WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 1 x
Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 1 x USB 2.0, 1 x HDMI 1.4,
1 x audio combo jack, 1 x microSD card reader, array microphone, and speakers
with Harman Kardon certification. The VivoBook Flip 14 TP420 model features a
14-inch FHD IPS touch screen with 45 percent NTSC coverage, an 82 percent
screen-to-body ratio, and ASUS Pen support. Inside, it has an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U
processor, Radeon graphics, 8GB LPDDR4X, and 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD.
It also has WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 1 x
Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 1 x USB 2.0, 1 x HDMI 1.4,
1 x audio combo jack, 1 x microSD card reader, array microphone, and speakers
with Harman Kardon certification. Both feature a 42WHr battery with fast charge
technology.
