Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition will be officially launched in China on 27th April. Ahead of the launch, the company has been revealing some key features of the phone through teasers. Today, in the latest teaser, the company has shared details about the sound quality of the upcoming gaming-centric smartphone. Xiaomi claims that the device will “make top game sound quality.”
The device will come with support for an
external amplifier, headset, and sound effects. There are stereo dual amplifier
and radio MIC re-layout, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res dual gold standard audio
output. The Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition features a flexible OLED display
panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+.
The bezels on three sides measure just 1.8mm which is about the thickness of a
coin.
Under the hood, it will be powered by
MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 processor. There are three cameras on the back of the
phone, and flanking the sensors on the side is a lightning-shaped LED flash.
The phone will run Android 11 out of the box with MIUI on top.
It has also been confirmed that the device
will come with a 5065mAh battery capacity and support for 67W fast charging,
the fastest ever in a Redmi phone, and a significant bump from the 33W charging
that its siblings support. Recently, the company released a video that
highlights the phone’s pulsating ambient light that is built around the triple
camera setup. The video shows that the LED switches between different colors.
The light not only works with games but also serves as a notification LED for
calls, messages, and charging. The LED color can be customized so you can
identify what the notification is for.
