Oppo has added a new member to its huge Reno5 lineup, dubbed Reno5 Z 5G. The Oppo Reno5 Z 5G has a Dimensity 800U SoC at the helm with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1. The smartphone is built around a 6.43" FullHD+ AMOLED screen with a fingerprint reader underneath and a punch hole in the upper-left corner for the 16MP selfie camera.
Around the back, we get a quad camera
setup comprising a 48MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP monochrome
units. The smartphone comes with camera features such as Ultra Night Video, HDR
Video, Dual-View Video, Focus Lock, Dynamic Bokeh, and AI Scene Enhancements
2.0.
Fueling the entire package is a 4,310mAh
battery that draws power through a USB-C port at up to 30W. The Reno5 Z 5G also
comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and 5G support. All this might sound
familiar to you because the Reno5 Z 5G isn't an entirely new smartphone. It's a
rebranded F19 Pro+ 5G with slower charging and an NFC chip onboard. Oppo is
even using the same name for the black color model - Fluid Black. The other
color variant is called Cosmo Blue, although the smartphone doesn't come in
Space Silver like the F19 Pro+ 5G.
The Oppo Reno5 Z 5G is available for
purchase in Singapore through online retailers Lazada and Shopee for SGD 529
(US$ 395/€ 330) and in UAE for AED 1,499 (US$ 410/€ 345) through major retailers and
e-commerce platforms.
