Lenovo today held the YOGA×Xiaoxin spring new product launch conference as scheduled. During the event, the company unveiled three new Xiaoxin series notebooks and these include: Xiaoxin Pro 16 2021, Xiaoxin Air 14 Plus 2021, and Xiaoxin Air 15.
The Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 16 2021 is
definitely the top model among the trio and comes in three different versions.
There is a Standard Ryzen version, a Ryzen Exclusive version, and an Intel Core
Exclusive version.
Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 16 2021 Standard Ryzen
version
The Xiaoxin Pro 16 2021 is powered by an
AMD Ryzen R7 5800H processor paired with 16GB RAM while there is 512GB of
storage onboard. The processor also tags along with a Radeon Graphics processor
and has a peak refresh rate of 60Hz. This version carries a retail price of
5499 yuan (US$ 847) but there is an early bird price tag of 4999 yuan (US$ 770).

Edition
Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 16 2021 Ryzen Exclusive
Edition is powered by an AMD Ryzen R5 5600H processor with 16GB RAM and 512GB
storage. There is a top-end version packing an R7 5800H processor. This model
pairs with a more improved graphics processor. The GPU is the NVIDIA GeForce
GTX 1650 GPU bringing support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Ryzen Exclusive edition carries an
original price tag of 6,099 yuan and an early bird price tag of 5,599 yuan for
the Ryzen R5 5600H. The R7 5800H
processor model is priced at 6,499 yuan (US$ 1001), but is discounted to 5999
yuan (US$ 924).
Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 16 2021 Intel Core
Exclusive Edition
Lenovo also added a Xiaoxin Pro 16 Intel
Core-powered model which is fired up by an Intel Core i5-11300H processor
paired with 16GB RAM as well as 512GB storage. This version utilizes an NVIDIA
GeForce MX450, an entry-level mobile GPU for laptops. The laptop only supports
a 60Hz screen refresh rate. As for the price, it will retail for 6,299 yuan
(US$ 970) but the early bird price tag is 5799 yuan (US$ 893).
As the name implies, the Lenovo Xiaoxin
Pro 16 is equipped with a 16-inch matte screen with narrow bezels and a
resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. The screen ratio is 16:10 while the brightness peaks at 350nits. The
screen also comes with a 100% sRGB high color gamut and has the TUV Rheinland
low blue light + Eyesafe certification. It equally supports DC dimming without
flicker.
In terms of the build, the Xiaoxin 16 uses
an ultralightweight metal body, weighing just 1.89Kg. It is also just 16.9mm in
thickness. The keyboard comes with large-size arrow keys, an independent
numeric keypad, as well a three-speed backlight adjustment. The sound is
provided by a Dolby Atmos-supporting dual-speaker system. Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 16

pre-order in China on April 23 and will be available for sale on all platforms
on May 1.
