Recently, the Xiaomi-backed Redmi brand launched a couple of its products in China, which includes the Redmi K40 series and the Redmi AirDots 3 TWS earphones. The new AirDots 3 is available in 3 colors: White, Black, and Pink. Comparing the new earphone to its previous model, the design remains the same except that it comes with upgraded performance.
The Redmi AirDots 3 is powered by a
QCC3040 chipset with an upgraded Bluetooth version of 5.2 from Bluetooth 5.0.
Which will bring more stable connectivity, faster connection, and enhanced
transmission rate. It also supports multi-functional touch control, XiaoAI
voice assistant, and a pop-up window that is compatible with MIUI devices. That
will allow the users to instantly view battery status and connection.
The earphones feature environmental noise
reduction that removes background noise and they will also come with a higher
water-resistant rating with IPX7. For an upgraded sound performance, it will
have aptX Adaptive codec support.
The battery is rated to last for up to 7
hrs per earbud of non-stop music playback. It will have a total of 30 hours of
listening if combined with the charging case. The Redmi AirDots 3 is now
available for sale in China for the price of CNY 199.
