Huawei announced the Watch Fit wearable last summer, and now the company updated the lineup with two new color options and a new name - Huawei Watch Fit Elegant. The difference from the current Active Edition is a polished stainless steel watch frame, as well as a soft fluoroelastomer strap. It will be available in two stylish colors - Frosty White (with golden accents) and Midnight Black (with silver buckle and frame).
The material of the strap is different
than the regular silicone that comes on the basic Huawei Watch Fit - it is more
resistant to heat, moisture, oil, and stretching. They are a bit more
expensive, but in the end, you get a more durable option that is also less
prone to induce any allergic reactions.
Specs-wise, the Huawei Watch Fit Elegant
comes with a rectangular 1.64” AMOLED and has a single button on the side. The
user interface is Huawei’s own Lite OS running on a Kirin A1 chipset,
responsible for the 12-day battery life, promised in the press materials.
The Watch Fit Elegant has a built-in GPS
sensor, 24-hour heart rate sensor and all-day SpO2 tracker. Features include 12
animated workouts, 96 workout modes, a menstruation tracker, and the Huawei
TruSleep 2.0 to track and analyze sleep schedules.
Huawei is launching the Watch Fit Elegant
in the UK on March 26 for £ 110. It can be purchased from the Huawei Store and
selected retailers.
