Taiwanese PC maker ASUS finally launched two premium laptops in the local market, the ZenBook Duo 14 and the ZenBook 13 OLED. ASUS claims that these two latest additions in their lineup are suitable for users who put a high value on productivity and creativity. Both of them are equipped with an elegant build and powerful internals but the ZenBook Duo 14 boasts of a ScreenPad Plus.
The ZenBook 13 OLED is primarily marketed
towards professionals who are on-the-go with its compact and thin build that
only weighs 1.14 kg. it features a 13-inch FHD OLED display with a nanoEdge
design. The OLED screen is said to have 400 nits brightest and Pantone
validated for color accuracy.
Under the hood, the ZenBook 13 OLED is
powered by the latest 11th gen Intel core processor, coupled with Intel Iris X
GPU, 8GB memory, and 512 GB SSD. For battery life, ASUS claims that it can last
for 13 hours of use. They also said that charging this for 30 minutes can give
4 hours of usage. This device is available in Pine Gray color.
Meanwhile, the ZenBook Duo 14 is primarily
designed for multi-tasking and content creation. In front, there's a 14-inch
FHD IPS touchscreen with stylus support. The highlight of this laptop is the
12.65-inch tilting ScreenPad Plus which acts as a secondary display. This is
said to be useful for photo and video editing. Like the ZenBook 13 OLED, this has an 11th gen
Intel core processor so it can handle multiple apps simultaneously. This is
coupled with either an Intel Iris X GPU or an NVIDIA MX450 GPU, 16GB memory,
and 512 GB SSD.
The Ergolift hinge technology enables the
user to have an optimal view of the screens. ASUS also included a pre-installed
Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019 in the package. This device comes in a
Celestial Blue color. Allegedly, this laptop can last 17 hours and it is
chargeable by a power bank. Also, it features a wide array of ports such as
HDMI, Thunderbolt, a micro SD card reader, and a 3.5mm jack. It also comes with an ASUS pen that can be
used for scribbling on the main screen and the ScreenPad Plus.
