Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 11 as the world's first Snapdragon 888-powered smartphone last December and is expected to follow it up with the Pro, Ultra, and Lite models soon. The last one appeared in a couple of renders before, and today we are looking at its live images, which corroborate previous leaks.
The Mi 11 Lite will share the design with
the vanilla model, but it won't feature a curved display. One of the images
reveals the Mi 11 Lite will boot to Android 11-based MIUI 12 and have 6GB RAM
onboard. The picture doesn't tell us what chipset is powering the Mi 11 Lite,
but you can see it has an octa-core processor at the helm with a maximum clock
speed of 2.3GHz. Previous leaks claimed the Mi 11 Lite will have a Snapdragon
732G or the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 755G SoC under the hood.
The source of today's leak claims the Mi
11 Lite will be powered by the Snapdragon 775, pack a 4,150 mAh battery, and
support 5G networks. It also corroborates previous rumors of a 64MP primary
camera and 5x optical zoom. There's no word from Xiaomi about the Mi 11 Lite
yet, but we are hopeful more details about it will follow soon.
