Realme has grown exponentially during its two years of existence. The brand nowadays has more than just affordable smartphones thus establishing a presence in all the market segments. It’s also more than a smartphone brand with several lifestyle products, wearables, and even smart TVs. However, the smartphone business still is the company’s core business. Realme is preparing a new flagship set to come in the first quarter of 2021. The brand is set to bring its Realme X7 series to India in the coming days and may also unveil the Realme X9 series in China during the next months. Apparently, there is one more device set to hit the Chinese market very soon. It passed by TENAA certification today and it is believed to be the Realme V13.
The new Realme smartphone passed by the
TENAA certification authority with RMX3121 model number. It boasts a large
display with a waterdrop notch, a huge battery, and a Triple-Camera array. As
aforementioned, this device can be a new entry for the affordable Reame
V-series. Without further ado, let’s dive in the specifications revealed by
TENAA.
According to the listing, the rumored
Realme V13 (RMX3121) flaunts a 6.52-inch LCD. The device has a side-mounted
fingerprint scanner on the side that also serves as a power button. For that
reason, it’s easy to know that this is an LCD. The phone will pack 5G
connectivity. While the exact chipset is unknown, it’s easy to make
assumptions. There aren’t many 5G chipsets for affordable smartphones, and
since the Realme V13 will come as an affordable phone we have enough reasons to
believe that it will pack either the Dimensity 700 or Dimensity 720 SoC.
Qualcomm has recently unveiled a Snapdragon 480 5G SoC, but we believe that
Realme’s partnership with MediaTek for affordable 5G phones seems to be more
established right now.
The phone will also pack a huge 5,000mAh
battery. This has been a recurring battery capacity among Realme devices.
Unfortunately, TENAA does not bring any info regarding the charging
capabilities. Hopefully, it will have at least 18W of charging. The device also
runs Android 11 straight out of the box which means that Realme UI 2.0 will be
running on top. The device has a rectangular Triple-Camera setup where the
cameras are aligned in an L-formation. The device’s overall dimensions are
163.9 x 75.7 x 8.4 mm.
Unfortunately, there aren’t many details
about this handset right now. Not even its identity as Realm V13 can be
confirmed. Hopefully, more details will pop out in the coming days as the
device does not seem to be much away from a release.
