Meizu is celebrating its 18th birthday in March and will begin the month with several launches. We will see the Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro phones on March 3, and today the company revealed some key details about the screens of the phones. According to the official page on Weibo, the Meizu 18 will have a 6.2” screen diagonal, and we already know it will have curved edges on the side and a single punch hole in the middle.
Meanwhile, the Meizu 18 Pro will have QHD+
resolution (or 2K, as Chinese companies falsely call it), keeping the overall
design with the 2.5D curved glass and the selfie camera in the center. The
phones are expected to be quite different from each other - the Meizu 18 is
coming with a Snapdragon 870 chipset, while its Pro sibling will be bigger and
mightier, powered by a Snapdragon 888 platform. Expectations are the battery
capacity to also be increased, as well as the charging speed.
One thing we do not expect to see next
Wednesday is chargers - certifications revealed both Meizu devices will ship
without the adapter in the retail box.
