Huawei's upcoming flagship tablet, the MatePad Pro 2 5G has been certified with the Chinese 3C, confirming its 40W charging. We also expect it to match its predecessor's 27W wireless charging (a rarity among tablets).
The MatePad Pro 2 5G is expected to be
powered by a Kirin 9000 chipset and run PadOS, based on the company's Harmony
OS. The current MatePad Pro 5G has a 10.8-inch IPS LCD but we've heard reports
that its successor will increase the size to a 12.9-inch OLED with 120Hz
refresh rate.
Now a slightly conflicting report has
surfaced in China. As per Weibo user Digital Chat Station (translated) the
MatePad Pro 2 5G will come in two screen options - a 12.2-inch Huaxing-made
display and another 12.6-inch Samsung-made panel with 120Hz refresh rate, no
word whether either are IPS LCD or OLED.
