Huawei quietly launches the FreeBuds 4i with Active Noise Cancellation in China thru the company's online store, Vmall! GizmoChina reports that Huawei has silently launched its new truly wireless earphones on its company online store V-mall.
The new FreeBuds 4i is the successor to
the FreeBuds 3i that was announced in May 2020
and was then released in the Philippines a few months later last July
2020. Upgrades over the FreeBuds 3i include Active Noise Cancellation and 10
hours continuous playback. The design of the FreeBuds 4i looks like a
combination of the FreeBuds 3i and the FreeBuds Pro. It features an in-ear design with a long stem
and dual-microphone design that aids in picking up human voices.
Huawei claims that it is designed with a
windproof structure that improves earphone ability to reduce wind noise in a
lightweight body. This lightweight body also reduces strain on the ear which
Huawei says offers a comfortable wearing experience. The earbuds also support
touch gestures like double-tap to play/pause or to answer/hang-up calls. At the
core of the earphones are 10mm dynamic coil units on each bud with a polymer
composite diaphragm that Huawei says delivers vivid vocals.
The charging case is round in shape and
offers a 10-minute quick charge that offers 4 hours of playback. Like other true wireless earphones recently,
it also comes with the pop-open case and it pairs automatically with the
smartphone after the 'first' set-up pairing. Lastly, the FreeBuds 4i comes in
Red, Black, and White colorways.
Huawei FreeBuds 4i price is CNY 499. It is
now available for pre-order at Huawei's company online store Vmall. There is no
word yet on International or Philippine pricing and availability.
