Garmin Philippines announced a new rugged GPS smartwatch designed for esports athletes called the Instinct Esports Edition. The Instinct Esports Edition utilizes Garmin's health and fitness tracking technologies for a dedicated esports activity function. This tracks and analyzes heart rate and stress levels during play as well as offer long-term trend analysis. It boasts up to 80 hours of battery life in esports mode and up to 14 days in smartwatch mode. In terms of build, it features MIL-STD 810 certified materials. It has a lightweight design to provide an unhindered gaming performance.
There's also Garmin's new STR3AMUP! PC
streaming tool that provides Instinct Esports Edition users the ability to live
stream biometric data to audiences. The tool has three days of battery life in
esports mode. The dedicated esports activity profile measures the player's
heart rate and stress level as well as the time of day. It also has a game
timer. Measuring these metrics allows players and teams to manage physical and
mental resources more effectively. It is also able to sync with the free Garmin
Connect app. It also has Advanced Sleep Monitoring, Body Battery Energy
Monitor, and 30+ sports apps, and robust activity tracking.
Garmin Philippines also confirmed its
partnership with Tier One Entertainment. Tier One is the first esports talent
agency in Southeast Asia. Its esports personalities will be equipping the
Instinct Esports Edition watch while plating a game of Valorant to showcase its
features.
