Thanks to some inside info from Samsung's Greater Noida plant, we know the Korean company is preparing a new affordable compact tablet under the name Galaxy Tab M62. Images of the tablet’s chassis appeared online, revealing apertures for two cameras and room for a relatively big battery. The source claimed the device will have at least 6GB RAM and 256 gigs of storage, Exynos chipset and 4G LTE connectivity. Everything else is still a mystery, including how much it will cost.
Either way, when this device arrives, it
will be the first Galaxy Tab M tablet. We expect it to be cheaper than the
Galaxy Tab A series, which is the current affordable portfolio of slates. There
is also the hope this device will be made for the global audience because in
this uncertain situation with COVID-19 around the world, many and many more
students need affordable smart devices for easy access to education.
