After the recent launch of the Nokia 6300 4G, HMD Global released another 4G feature phone in China. It is called the Nokia 8000 4G priced at CNY 699.
The Nokia 8000 4G has a glass-like back
that gives it a glossy finish. Upfront is a 2.8-inch screen and a keypad with a
curved, streamlined design. Inside, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor,
512MB RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. You expand the latter via microSD card
too. At the back, you can find a 2MP camera. It also has a 1,500mAh battery
that HMD Global touted to last 28 days on standby and over three hours of
continuous 4G talk time.
It is running KaiOS that could use the 4G
connectivity since it supports Facebook and WhatsApp. It seems to also have
WiFi, GPS with A-GPS, and FM Radio. The Nokia 8000 4G is available in Onyx
Black, Opal White, Topaz Blue, and Citrine Gold. It is now up for preorders in
China and will start shipping on January 6, 2021. It is not yet official but it
is expected to be launched in India as well in January 2021.
