Just a couple of months after independence, Honor announced its new laptop called the Honor MagicBook Pro 2021. Unlike the previous HonorBook, which was running an AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor, the new model runs an Intel Core i5-10210U processor and an Nvidia GeForce MX350 graphics accelerator.
The Honor MagicBook Pro 2021 features a
16.1-inch Full HD display with 100 percent sRGB color space. The laptop
received 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB NVMe solid-state drive. In addition, the
device has a pop-up webcam for video calling. The laptop received three USB-A
ports, one USB-C and one HDMI, as well as a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
The laptop is also equipped with a
fingerprint scanner, which is built into the computer’s power button. In terms
of battery life, the Chinese company claims that with a 56 Wh battery, the
laptop can last up to 11.5 hours on a single charge. A 65W power supply comes
in the box, which should provide a 50% charge in about 30 minutes. The laptop
cost about US$ 1,000.
