A new vivo device has just passed through the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) with a model number V2040. As per Indonesia Telecom, this device will carry the totally unoriginal name “vivo V20 (2021)”. The vivo V20 launched a few months ago now, but vivo is already naming a successor. With the BIS certification, MySmartPrice speculates that the phone’s launch in India could come in the next month or two.
There are no other specifications revealed
by the report, but there are speculations based on the phone’s predecessor,
(also called) the vivo V20. That phone came with a a 6.44-inch FHD+ screen, a
triple camera setup on the back with a main 64MP shooter, and a 4000 mAh
battery. There’s also a dew-drop notch selfie camera and a Snapdragon 720G
powering the phone.
The V20 (2021) may come with an updated
quad-camera setup, punch hole display, and perhaps another Snapdragon
700-series chipset. The phone is expected to arrive with FunTouch OS 11 (based
on Android 11).
