The Galaxy Book Flex 2 comes with a ‘smart S Pen’ and a 360° rotatable 13.3-inch/15.6-inch FHD QLED touchscreen. It is a two-in-one notebook with good performance. The laptop is 33.7/39.6cm (13.3 inches / 15.6 inches) in length, weighs 1.16kg / 1.57kg, and is equipped with Intel’s 11th generation i5, i7 processor IrisX / MX450 (15.6 inches). The laptop is available in two color options, black and purple. The price varies from 1.845 million won to 2.83 million won (US$ 1700 – US$ 2600) depending on the configuration.
In addition, the machine provides up to
1TB SSD and up to LPDDR4X 16GB memory, built-in 69.7Wh battery, has two 5W AKG
stereo speakers, supports fingerprint recognition, provides two Thunderbolt IV,
USB-C, UFS slots, etc.
Its other main selling point is that it
sports a 4th generation SSD (it should be Samsung’s own product). Compared with
the current 3rd generation SSD, the read speed and write speed are 1.86 times
and 1.67 times higher, respectively.
In other aspects, the laptop has a
built-in 13-megapixel ‘World Facing Camera’ lens above the keyboard. It
supports direct use of S Pen to take notes during video conferences or online
classes (It is not clear whether it is the same as the S Pen used in Note
series models).
There is also the Galaxy Book Flex 2 5G,
which is the first Samsung laptop to support 5G network. The Samsung Galaxy
Book Flex 2 5G is 33.7cm (13.3 inches) in length. This laptop is available only
in the ‘Royal Silver’ version, and the price is 2.725 million won, which is
approximately US$ 2500.
