A few days ago, Huami, the company behind the popular Amazfit lineup of wearable devices, confirmed that it will be launching its new smartwatch under the Zepp brand on 17th November worldwide. Now, the company has confirmed that Zepp’s upcoming smartwatch in the new Z-series will be officially unveiled in China in the early hours of 18th November. The company has also teased the device in the shared teaser video.
The wearable device is expected seems to
have a metal body with a leather strap. There are also two buttons visible on
the right side of the watch, but we expect at least one more such button —
giving it a traditional watch look, suitable for both casual and business look.
The company has already launched the Zepp
E smartwatch in the market which is offered in two models — square-shaped dial
and circular dial. It has a 3D curved bezel-less design and offers an always-on
display along with health and activity tracking features.
For those who are unaware, Amazfit’s
parent company Huami acquired California-based Zepp in 2018, and earlier this
year, the company rebranded its Amazfit app to Zepp. It is planning to keep the
Amazfit brand for the smart wearable hardware product whereas Zepp will be a
platform for the management of personal well-being.
