Samsung Galaxy A02

The Samsung Galaxy A02 we've been hearing about since last month has bagged a few certifications, with the latest one coming from Latin America's CPQD. The documents on CPQD's website revealed the Galaxy A02 - bearing model designation SM-A025M/DS - will ship with a battery, model code HQ-50S, which is listed on TUV Rheinland with a typical capacity of 5,000 mAh and a rated capacity of 4,800 mAh.

The Galaxy A02 is expected to launch in some markets as the Galaxy M02 and was spotted on Geekbench with 3GB RAM and a Qualcomm chipset, which could be the Snapdragon 450. The benchmark database didn't include any other specs of the Galaxy A02, but rumors have it that the smartphone will come with a 5.7" HD+ display and a total of three cameras - an 8MP shooter on the front and a 13MP primary camera on the back joined by a 2MP depth sensor.

There's no word from Samsung about the Galaxy A02 yet, but seeing how its predecessor - the Galaxy A01 - was announced in mid-December last year, we could see the Korean tech giant make the A02 official around the same time this year.
