Cherry Mobile is back with the launch of the Aqua S9 Max—a gaming-focused device on a budget! Targeting mobile gamers, the Aqua S9 Max is Cherry Mobile's most powerful offering yet. It is also the first from its new "Aqua" line.
It sports a 3D curved body in stylish Jade
Green colorway and a 6.53-inch FHD+ TrueView Teardrop Display with a 91 percent
screen-to-body ratio for a more immersive gaming experience. Inside, it is
powered by the 2.05GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core processor with
Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. This is MediaTek's mid-range chipset commonly found on
pricier phones that can run several heavy games on max settings with decent
frame rates.
Cherry Mobile even paired it with 4GB RAM,
128GB expandable storage, and a large 5,130mAh battery with an 18W fast
charging solution. To keep the performance in check, Cherry added a liquid
cooling solution.
Aside from speed and gaming, this device
is also the first Cherry phone to sport a 48MP f/1.79 Sony IMX582 sensor. That
is a near flagship-grade sensor designed to take high-quality images thanks to
its 4-in-1 pixel binning solution. For selfies, it has a large 32MP shooter in
front. Moreover, this phone has a rear-facing fingerprint reader, Smart PA HiFi
audio amp, and Android 10 OS out of the box.
