The Samsung Galaxy F41 has a 6,000 mAh battery that is designed to keep the party going – it can last up to 26 hours of video playback, days of phone calls or just browsing the web for 21 hours straight. The phone is designed and made in India and the “Full On” marketing makes it very clear that it is aimed at a young crowd. Still, the flashy marketing can’t conceal the Galaxy M31 that hides inside this phone.
The F41 has a 6.4” Super AMOLED display
with 1080p+ resolution. It promises 110% coverage of the NTSC color gamut a
peak brightness of 420 nits. Inside is the familiar Exynos 9611 chipset (4x
A73, 4x A53, Mali-G72 MP3) running Android 10 with One UI Core 2.1. The phone is configured with with 6 GB of RAM
and 64 or 128 GB of storage. The triple card slot can hold a microSD in
addition to two SIMs.
Much more important is the camera. The 64
MP module on the rear and 32 MP selfie cam are offer several modes and filters
that vary from useful to fun. Single Take is the best one, it shoots 7 photos
and 3 videos simultaneously and lets you pick the the ones you want to keep
later.
The rear camera can record 4K video and
offers hyperlapse and boomerang modes. There’s also a 123° ultra wide cam with
an 8 MP sensor on the back, plus “Live Focus” camera (a depth sensor). The
fingerprint reader is mounted on the back side as well. The phone comes bundled
with a 15W charger, which isn't fast by any means - it needs 2 hours and 40
minutes for a 0-100% charge.
The Samsung Galaxy F41 will be available
in India from October 16, pre-orders will start soon. Flipkart is offering it
at a special “Big Billion Days” price of INR 15,500, down from the regular INR
17,000 price tag. The 128 GB option is INR 16,500 at Flipkart right now and
will go up to INR 18,000 once the promo runs out. The phone will also be
