The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 40 RS is set to be the most premium device in the series. According to leaks, it is supposed to have an IR Thermometer. The leak tweeted shows a back panel with a greyish-purple hue, Huawei, and Porsche Design branding, as well as an octagonal camera bump with around 6 cutouts. The big information leaked is that the possibility of this device releasing with an IR thermometer akin to Honor Play 4 Pro.
Overall, there are 4 total devices in the
Mate 40 series namely Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro Plus, and the
Porsche Design Mate 40 RS. All of these are expected to sport the 5nm Kirin
9000 5G chip, Leica cameras, and support for fast file transfers and charging.
The Huawei Porsche Design Mate 40 RS is
expected to have a EUR 2,000 which is around PHP 114K out of straight
conversion.
