The multiplayer online game League of Legends is enjoying an uptick of interest in the East. This month LOL is celebrating 11 years since its announcement and Oppo decided to commemorate the anniversary with a custom-made Find X2 smartphone and Watch.
Now, thanks to a leak on Weibo we have a
date to circle on our calendars - October 19. The report says the special
version will have a custom paint job and an exclusive theme and will be
available with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone has the Worlds 2020 logo on
the back - that is the marketing name of the 2020 Season World Championship, or
the conclusion of the 2020 LOL esports season, a tournament held in Shanghai,
China.
Color-wise, it has a mist-green-blue shade
on the back and the sides, with golden accents on the top, bottom, and around
the camera. The back is likely to be a regular glass panel. The rest of the
specs remain the same - a triple camera on the back, Snapdragon 865 on the
inside, and ColorOS 7 to make the user experience as smooth as it gets on an
Oppo phone.
October 19 is also the date when Oppo will
unveil its first Smart TV, so it's likely that the two devices will appear on
the same stage. We can only assume the LOL-themed Oppo Watch will also be
joining them.
