Gionee recently announced the Gionee S12 Lite in Nigeria, the company's newest entry-level smartphone. As mentioned, it is an entry-level handset with basic specs. The device boasts a glossy glass-like curved back in Blue and Gray gradient colors, 6.52-inch HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution screen, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop-like notch for the 8MP selfie camera.
It runs with the MediaTek 12nm 1.8GHz
Helio A25 octa-core SoC solution with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB
expandable storage via microSD slot, and 4,000mAh battery with micro USB
charging. For back cameras, it highlights a triple-cam setup using a 13MP main
cam, 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth. Both the back and front cameras can record up
to 1080p at 30fps.
It also has a fingerprint reader, 3.5mm
jack, WiFi 2.4GHz, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio, and dual SIM slots. There's
no info regarding its pricing yet. It is expected to be revealed next week.
