After launching the Bip S and Bip S Lite smartwatches in India, Amazfit today also brought the Bip U there. It is priced at INR 3,999 (US$ 55/€ 45) but will be available for INR 3,499 (US$ 48/€ 40) between October 16 and Diwali on Amazon.in and Amazfit's official site in three colors - Black, Pink, and Green.
The Amazfit Bip U sports a 1.43" TFT
color touchscreen of 320x302 pixels, which is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla
Glass 3 and has an anti-fingerprint coating. It supports 50 watch faces and you
get to choose what information you want to see on the home screen, but that's
only possible with the two built-in watch faces.
The Bip U weighs just 31 grams and comes
with a polycarbonate casing and silicone straps. It's water-resistant up to 50
meters and packs a 230 mAh battery which is claimed to offer up to nine days of
endurance on a single charge in a typical usage scenario.
You also get over 60 sports modes with the
Amazfit Bip U, with some able to track your workout route with the help of GPS
on the connected smartphone. Other health and fitness features on the Bip U
include 24x7 heart-rate monitoring, blood-oxygen level measurement with SpO2
sensor, stress monitoring, and menstrual cycle tracker for women.
The Bip U can monitor your sleep, which is
broken into deep sleep, light sleep, and REM sleep. It can also track afternoon
naps like the more affordable Amazfit Neo. The rest of the highlights of the
Amazfit Bip U include incoming call and app notifications, PAI Health
Assessment System, Pomodoro Clock, Music and Camera Control, Alarm Clock, World
Clock, and Weather Forecasts.
