Unannounced realme X7 Lite and mysterious Q-series smartphone with model number RMX2117 have been certified by the TENAA in China. In China, realme has been launching X-series and V-series smartphones in 2020. Last 2019, the company sold a rebranded realme 5 Pro as the realme Q.
Recently, the Telecommunication equipment
certification center or TENAA has listed a mysterious smartphone with model
number RMX2117. The same model number was also found in the TENAA database as
the next Q-series smartphone. The
RMX2117 phone supports 5G and has a 6.5-inch display with resolution of 2400 x
1080p. Inside is a 2.4GHz octa-core processor, 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB
of storage and 4900mAh battery.
Running the show is Android 10. At the
back are a 48MP main rear camera, 8MP secondary rear camera and 2MP tertiary
rear camera while in front is a 16MP selfie shooter. The upcoming Q-series
smartphone measures at 162. x 75.1 x 9.1 mm and weighs only 194 grams. It will
come in Silver, Blue, Black, and Gray in China.
Last week, GizmoChina found the realme
model numbers RMX2173 and RMX2117 on the TENAA database and found that two have
nearly identical specs and design but with one having lower camera
specifications. The website speculates that because the RMX2176 was revealed as
the realme X7, the newly listed model number RMX2173 could be the realme X7
Youth or realme X7 Lite.
The realme X7 lite will allegedly feature
a 16MP selfie camera and a rear camera set-up made up of a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP +
2MP quad-camera module. In front of the phone is a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED
display with a punch hole and a resolution of 2400 x 1080. Inside is a 2.4GHz octa-core processor,
6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB of storage, and Android 10 running the show. There is
no information yet on pricing and availability.
Take this information with a grain of salt
as until realme makes an official announcement, this information is still
considered as rumors.
