Huawei Watch
Fit is a fitness wearable that comes with a stretched rectangular design. Tech giant Huawei is said to be one of the top
manufacturers of wearable today. Its sales for the first quarter of 2020
increased by 57 percent even with the pandemic crisis. The company is planning
to grow its market share as it introduces a new smartwatch called Huawei Watch
Fit.
This is designed for a less serious,
younger crowd who might be considering a fitness tracker and have embraced
working out at home during the lockdown. The new smartwatch sports a
rectangular face with a resolution of 280 x 456 pixels and 326 pixel-per-inch.
Its display has a 70 percent screen-to-body ratio while supporting full-screen
input.
There's a single button located on its
left side that serves as a power button to activate the smartwatch. Huawei
Watch Fit supports up to six new Always-On Display watch faces. It enables the
watch to display information even it is not active.
This Huawei wearable highlights a series
of quick-workout features. This consists of full-body stretch, ab ripper, and
includes 44 standard movement demonstrations. It also has 96 workout modes and
includes mainstream sports modes as running, swimming, and cycling.
The rest of the features include GPS, a
PPG heart rate, a barometer, and a 5ATM water resistance. Note that Huawei equipped
this with a speaker and microphone for taking calls. The company claims that
this endures ten days of use. The Huawei Watch Fit is priced at USD 110 but there's no information yet regarding its local availability.
Stay tuned for further announcements.
