Cherry Mobile today launched the newest member of the Flare Y family—the Flare Y5. Cherry Mobile Flare Y5 is an Android 10 (Go edition) handset equipped with a 5.45-inch LCD IPS display with a 19:9 TrueView notch display, 1.4GHz 28nm UNISOC SC9832E octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage via microSD slot up to 64GB, and 2,000mAh battery with micro USB charging.
The handset also uses an 8MP main camera
with AF and a 5MP selfie camera. The other highlight of the device is it sports
4G LTE connectivity, a rare feature under PHP 3K.
Apart from the lightweight apps, it also
has a Dark Mode to lessen digital eyes strain and Family Link where parents can
