Motorola is almost ready to unveil its
next foldable smartphone, which the rumor mill has so far tentatively called
either Razr 5G or Razr 2020. The successor to the company's first foldable, the
reborn Razr 2019, will improve upon it in every conceivable way, if we go by
past rumors.
It will get official on September 9,
according to invites sent to the media by Motorola. The next Razr has already
leaked in a few hands-on images, of which one is shown below for your viewing
pleasure.
Expect to see the Snapdragon 765 chipset
powering the new device and bringing it 5G support as well. You'll get 8GB of
RAM and 256GB of storage, and a 2,845 mAh battery. The rear camera gets an upgrade
too, to Samsung's 48 MP ISOCELL Bright GM1, while the selfie snapper will be 20
MP. The phone will run Android 10, and the outer screen will be larger this
time.
