Transsion Holdings is popularly known for
the Infinix brand also operates the Tecno and Itel brands. The Chinese company
has now launched a new Itel branded model dubbed Itel Vision 1 in India. The
model is an affordable phone which is consistent with Itel’s market
strategy.
Despite being a cheap phone, the Vision 1
packs a decent hardware configuration that isn’t really disappointing. In terms
of the design, the device adopts a U-shaped notch design at the top of the
display but the bezel is still noticeable. The rear design includes a
square-shaped camera module located at the upper left corner of the phone. The
camera module houses a dual-camera setup as well as an LED flash. The phone
also has a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Specs-wise, the Itel Vision 1 sports a
6.088-inch HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits brightness. It is powered by an Octa-core Unisoc SC9863A
processor clocked at 1.6GHz and bundled with an IMG8322 GPU. The processor is
paired with 3GB of RAM while there is 32GB of storage onboard. The storage can
be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
For photography, the vanilla Vision 1
packs an 8MP main camera at the rear teaming up with a 0.3MP depth sensor. For
selfies, there is a 5MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The Itel Vision 1
runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and packs a 4000mAh removable battery.
The phone is available in Green and Blue
colours and carries a price tag of Rs. 6999 (US$ 93). It will go on sale from
August 18 on Flipkart.
