Huawei Children’s Watch 4X

This chunky and durable smart watch is aimed at the little ones. It’s water resistant up to 5ATM and the whole thing is fairly lightweight at 67.7 g. The 800 mAh battery should last two days of typical use (5 days in power saving mode).

Next to the 1.41” AMOLED display (320 x 360 px) is a 5 MP selfie camera, there’s also an 8 MP camera for general photos. The watch has NFC with support for Alipay, so it can replace a wallet. It also doubles as a phone, so mom and pop can always check in. The positioning hardware is impressive as the built-in receiver uses GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS.

The Children’s Watch 4X will be available from August 19 at a price of CNY 1,400.
