Honor has introduced MagicWatch 2 back in
late 2019, and the brand is already working on an updated version. The new
wearable will be called Honor Watch GS Pro and will be for the mountain lovers,
according to the official Weibo page of the brand.
The message, accompanying the post, goes
into poetic motion how the mountains are calling the urban globetrotter and how
the roads are always there if you are looking for a path, etc. There is also
the message the Honor Watch GS Pro will be “released soon” to “accompany you
through the endless possibilities of life”.
The first comment below the post is by
George Zhao, CEO at Honor. He confirmed the watch is currently in use but is
still going through test processes but it manages to satisfy his “yearning for
outdoor sports” in the urban life, thanks to “really powerful features”.
The Honor MagicWatch 2 had an impressive
battery life of up to 14 days on one charge but only if you limit the usage of
its smart features. Hopefully, the new watch will bring a true battery life
with proper GPS tracking by TomTom - Huawei’s partner in delivering mapping
solutions.
