DJI earlier introduced the upgrade to the
Osmo Mobile 3 wiht a simpler name—the OM 4. The main highlight of the new
gimbal is it now has magnetic mounts to easily attach your smartphone to the OM
4 with the use of a Magnetic Phone Clamp or Magnetic Ring Holder.
Design-wise, it still comes with a
foldable design for portability purposes with a tripod mount. But, it now has
upgraded motors that can handle heavier handsets up to about 290 grams. The OM
4 still has the Story Mode, Gesture Control, ActiveTrack 3.0, and Quick Roll.
It connects via DJI Mimo app with a video editor and built-in tutorials to help
you create better content.
Other features like the DyamicZoom,
Timelapse, Motionlapse, Hyperlapse, Slow-motion, Sports Mode, Panoramas, Spin
Shot Gimbal Movement are still present as well. It has a total of 15-hour run
time with USB charging.
The new OM 4 is priced at USD 149. It comes with a kit including two magnetic mounts, carrying
pouch, wrist strap, USB-C cable, and grip tripod.
