Samsung has announced the launch of two
new premium TV lineups, The Serif and the 2020 8K QLED TV. The Serif features a
unique uni-body “I” shaped design, Quantum Dot Technology, Active Voice
Amplifier (AVA) and more. The Samsung QLED 8K TVs feature Real 8K Resolution,
8K AI Upscaling, Quantum Processor 8K and more.
The Serif was designed in collaboration
with Parisian design duo Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The TV will come with a
detachable metal stand, so that is moved around whenever and wherever. Along
with its Quantum Dot Technology, the Serif also features 100% Color Volume,
Quantum Processor 4K, AI upscaling and HDR 10+ support. It is capable of
maintaining optimal brightness in different conditions with its “Adaptive
Picture technology”.
The Serif is Airplay 2 compatible and has
integrations for both Alexa and Bixby. Other features include Personal Computer
Mode, Muti Voice Assist, Content Guide, Music Player, etc. The 2020 QLED TV
lineup from Samsung brings many unique features such as Infinity Screen,
Adaptive Picture, Active Voice Amplifier, Q-Symphony and Object Tracking
Sound+. The 8K experience is enhanced with its 8K AI Upscaling, Quantum
Processor 8K, Quantum HDR and Real 8K Resolution.
It’s Active Voice Amplifier (AVA)
technology will detect exterior noises and automatically adjust the TV volume
to ensure the user can listen to audio perfectly in any environment. The Object
Tracking Sound+ technology enables the TV to output its audio through its 6 in-built
speakers that follows movement onscreen, creating 3D sound experiences. The
Serif will come in three sizes – 43-inch which is priced at 83,900, 49-inch,
which is priced at Rs. 1,16900 and 55-inch which is priced at Rs. 1,48,900.
The Samsung 2020 8K QLED TVs will come in
4 variants -Rs. 4.99 lakhs for the 65-inch version, Rs. 9.99 lakh for the
75-inch version, Rs. 14.29 lakhs for the 82-inch version and Rs. 15.79 lakhs
for the 85-inch version. As part of its 2020 8K QLED TV pre-booking offer, Samsung
will offer customers two Galaxy S20 Plus smartphones.
