Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+

The week of full declassification of the upcoming Samsung products ends with details about the flagship tablets Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+. We have already learned all the details about the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra smartphones, as well as the Galaxy Buds Live headphones – now is the time to look at the official images and evaluate all the characteristics of the tablets.

Let’s start with the screens. Galaxy Tab S7 received an 11-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with a maximum brightness of 500 cd / m2. The Galaxy Tab S7+ uses a 12.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1752 pixels and a maximum brightness of 420 cd / m2. Both screens support 120Hz refresh rates, and both support the proprietary S Pen stylus – the same as in the Galaxy Note 20.

Both models are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC complemented by a 5G Snapdragon X55 modem. The amount of RAM is 6 GB, flash memory is 128 GB. Also, both are equipped with four speakers with support for Dolby Atmos sound enhancement technology. In addition, they are compatible with proprietary DeX technology, and in this generation – with wireless DeX.

As for the cameras, there are also no differences. The main system is represented by two modules: 13 Mp with a lens with an aperture of F / 2.0. In addition to a 5 Mp with a lens with an aperture of F / 2.2. Front camera – with an 8 MP sensor and an F / 2.0 aperture lens. The dimensions and weight of the Tab S7 are 253.8 x 165.4 x 6.34 mm and 496 grams. The battery capacity of this model is 7040 mAh. The dimensions of the Tab S7 + are 285 x 185 x 5.7 mm, the weight is 590 grams. And the battery capacity is 10,090 mAh. The tablets will go on sale in three colors: black, bronze and silver.

The 11-inch version of the tablet, apparently, will not have a fingerprint scanner built into the display. Instead, the manufacturer installed an old-style scanner in the power button on the side. But in the larger version, a sensor will be installed under the display. At the moment, it is not known whether it will be optical (as in most Chinese smartphones) or ultrasonic (as in Samsung’s flagship devices).

As we wrote recently, Samsung most likely will not show the successor to the Galaxy Fold at its major presentation, scheduled for August 5th. However, the company still has interesting new products awaiting market entry. Along with two new smartphones – Note 20 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G, we will also see two new flagship tablets called Galaxy Tab S7.
