Back in May, Chinese manufacturing giant,
Xiaomi, released the Redmi 10X series which includes the Pro and 4G versions.
At the time, this smartphone was available in White, Blue, Gold, and Purple
colours. Recently, Redmi’s general manager, Lu Weibing announced the launch of
a new version. This is the Redmi 10X Pro Liquid Silver version which is
officially on sale today. The 8GB + 256GB version comes with a 2599 yuan (US$ 372)
price tag just like the regular versions.
Although the price tag remains the same,
the Liquid Silver should be more expensive. In a Weibo post, Lu Weibing said
that silver is rare in the market and the manufacturing process is quite
complex. This is why the Liquid Silver version should be more expensive.
However, Redmi has done well to keep the price on par with the regular version.
Silver is currently rare in the market.
The main reason is that the manufacturing process of the diaphragm is
relatively complicated. Also, the bonding yield of the diaphragm and glass is
very low, resulting in a very high cost. However, the newly launched liquid
silver of Redmi 10X is indeed very technological and futuristic, I hope you

Recall that the Redmi 10X Pro comes with a
6-inch+ Samsung AMOLED screen. Other features include a Dimensity 820 SoC, dual
5G standby, 30x OIS zoom quad camera, 4520mAh battery, 33W fast charging, etc.
