A couple of days ago Huawei teased the
launch of Freebuds 3i TWS earphones in India and today the company officially
brought them to the Indian market for INR 9,990 (US$ 135/€ 115). The Freebuds 3i
come in Carbon Black and Ceramic White colors and will be sold in India through
Amazon.in starting August 6, 2020.
As a part of the launch offer, customers
who purchase the Freebuds 3i will get Huawei Band 4 worth INR 1,999 (US$ 27/€ 23)
for free. This offer will be available for Amazon Prime members on August 6 and
7, but it will be open to all other customers until August 12.
The Freebuds 3i come with 10mm dynamic
drivers and support touch controls. A double-tap on the earbud lets you
play/pause music or answer/end calls, whereas a long tap lets you quickly
enable/disable active noise cancellation.
The Freebuds 3i ship with silicone tips of
four different sizes to offer a snug fit and better seal and each bud features
a 3-mic system that includes two microphones on the outer side and one on the
inside. The outward-facing mics pick your voice while the single mic on the
inner side receives the voice conducted inside your ears to enhance call
quality. The TWS earphones also feature active noise cancellation, which Huawei
claims reduces the noise level by up to 32 dB.
The Freebuds 3i come with Bluetooth 5.0
and each weighs 5.5 grams, packing a 37 mAh battery that offers up to 3.5 hours
of playback on a single charge. And when you pair them with the charging case,
that draws power through a USB-C port and packs a 410 mAh battery, you get a
total of up to 14.5 hours of playback.
