Honor President George Zhao had hinted
earlier last month that the brand has been working on a gaming laptop for a
long time. He also disclosed that the laptop will be launched this year. Later
on, rumours emerged that the laptop will be launched in July. Already, Honor
has scheduled a launch event for July 16 in China where the MagicBook AMD Ryzen
model will be unveiled. The gaming laptop could also tag along.
Ahead of the launch date, a laptop
believed to be the Honor gaming model has just been certified by China’s 3C.
The certification page shows that the model is a notebook computer with the
adapter having the model number HW-200A00P00. The adapter has a rating of
20V/10A. A Weibo user is said to have hinted that the laptop will come with a
200W adapter. Notebook models like the Razer Blade gaming laptop already
feature 200W adapters. The adapter provides plenty of power for games,
creativity, and entertainment.
Previous rumours also tip the Honor gaming
laptop to feature AMD’s 7nm Radeon graphics card while being equipped with
AMD’s processor. This throws up the possibility of the gaming notebook coming
with an Intel SoC. Also, Honour may likely release an Intel version in the
future.
