Blackmagic Design announces the new URSA
Mini Pro 12K that can record 12K at 60fps, 8K at 110fps and 4K at 220fps. Body
only starts at USD 9,995. Blackmagic Design has just announced the new URSA
Mini Pro 12K digital film camera that can record video at up to 12K/60fps with
80MP per frame using the full-width of the sensor. It features a 12,2288 x 6480
Super 35 Image sensor (APS-C) which offers up to 14-stops of dynamic range.
It can record 4K/220 fps and 8K/110fps
with a crop at Super 16. Included pro-grade features include built-in ND
filters, interchangeable PL/EF/F mount, UHS-II, and CFast card recorders. Blackmagic Design also claims that the 12K
RAW footage from the new URSA Mini Pro 12K is optimized enough to be editable
on a Macbook Pro. The new 12K sensor also allows oversampling to get. sharper
and highly-detailed 4K and 8K images that give creators more freedom in
post-production.
The Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K is aimed
at professional productions for television and movies. China price with direct
to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet): The Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K
will cost customers USD 9,995 for the body only and will
be available for purchase this July 2020.
