OnePlus official distributor
Digital Walker launched the OnePlus 8 Pro 5G flagship smartphone in the
Philippines. The local distributor also revealed that the 12GB/256GB
Ultramarine Blue variant of the said device will also be available starting
next week.
To those who missed it, OnePlus 8 Pro is
one of the top phones of the year. It is equipped with an IP68 highest-rated 6.78-inch Fluid AMOLED screen
with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Adaptive Display, MEMC, QHD+ 3168 x 1440
resolution at 513 ppi, and Gorilla Glass protection. It also has MEMC (motion
estimate and motion compensation) tech for smoother video playback experience
and 10-bit color for more accurate colors. Its screen also has a punch-hole to
eliminate the use of a notch and adding a 16MP f/2.4 Sony IMX471 sensor.
The rest of the specs are flagship-worthy
as well. It is powered by the 2.84GHz 7nm Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor,
8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 storage, and 4,510mAh battery w/ 30W
Warp Charge 30, 30W Wireless Charging, and 3W Reverse Wireless Charging.
It also has a 48MP f/1.78 Sony IMX689 w/
OIS, EIS main cam, 48MP f/2.2 w/ 120-degree ultra-wide-angle cam with Super
Macro, 8MP f/2.4 w/ 3x optical zoom cam, 5MP f/2.4 color filter with PDAF and
Laser AF cam, and dual-tone LED flash. Also, it has a stereo speaker setup,
Dolby Atmos audio, next-generation 5G connectivity, and OxygenOS 10 skin based
on Android 10 OS.
In PH, the 8GB RAM/128GB version is priced
at PHP 45,990. The 12GB/256GB version retails for PHP 48,990.
