Infinix unveiled its latest
handsets in India today with the Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro. The two phones are
largely similar with the major difference being that the Pro has a 48MP primary
camera instead of the 13MP shooter found on the vanilla model.
Both the Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro feature
6.6-inch displays with HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio and a punch hole
cutout in the top left corner for the 8MP selfie cam. Around the back we find a
capacitive fingerprint scanner alongside a 13MP main shooter on the Hot 9 and a
48MP main camera on the 9 Pro. The three auxiliary cams are a 2MP macro
shooter, 2MP depth helper and a dedicated low light sensor.
Under the hood we have the Helio P22
chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The battery comes
in at 5,000 mAh and supports 10W charging. The software front is covered by
Android 10 with the company’s XOS 6.0 on top.
The Infinix Hot 9 series will be available
in blue and violet colors. The Hot 9 starts at INR 8,499 (US$ 112) and will be
available from June 8 while the Pro 9 goes for INR 9,499 (US$ 125) and will be up
for grabs on June 5.
