During the nova 7 SE 5G
#SupernovaSuperShow launch, Huawei product training manager Bryan Baculi
revealed that the nova 7 5G will go official in the Philippines in July 2020. Huawei
nova 7 5G is the higher-end member of the nova 7 series. It is a device
sporting a beautiful 3D curved back design in Midnight Black, Silver, Forest
Green, Midsummer Purple, and Honey Red colors.
In front, it has an upgraded 6.53-inch
OLED display with 2340 x 1080m resolution, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, punch-hole
for the 32MP f/2.0 selfie cam, and an In-Display fingerprint reader. Inside,
the phone boasts a 7nm 2.56GHz Kirin 985 octa-core SoC with Mali-G77 MP8 GPU
and Kirin 990-like Dual NPU (Big-Core + Tiny-Core) + ISP 5.0 unit. It is paired
with 8GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB storage, and 4,000mAh battery with USB-C 40W
SuperCharge.
For cameras, it goes with a quad-camera
setup behind. It uses a 64MP f/1.8 main cam with OIS + 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide
camera + 8MP f/2.4 with 3x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom, and a 2MP f/2.4
macro camera. In front, this device has a 32MP f/2.0 shooter. Of course, the
device has a dual-band WiFi, 5G NSA/SA, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1 LE, NFC, GPS, and
dual SIM slots.
The phone measures at 160.64 x 74.33 x
7.96 mm and weighs 180 grams. It boots
with Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 skin. There's no word about the official local
price tag yet.
