GMA Network Inc. has just released its own
digital TV receiver dubbed as "AFFORDABOX" at Shopee and Lazada
online. The GMA AFFORDABOX Digital TV Receiver is the company's answer to the
ABS-CBN TVplus five years since its release. GMA's digital TV received is
designed to receive digital signals for clear and better picture quality when
connected to your existing analog TV.
At Shopee, the description reads that
it'll allow its users to receive digital television broadcasts from your
favorite Kapuso channels as well as other Philippine digital channels. The
Kapuso channels included are GMA, GMA News TV, and Heart of Asia. Heart of Asia
is the channel with Tagalized telenovelas and dramas.
The GMA AFFORDABOX Digital TV Receiver
highlights a Multimedia Player, Personal Video Recorder, Functional Auto-On
Alert Feature, Digital Display, and Info Display Enabled.
