Laptops with AMD Ryzen 4000 series mobile
processors have started to enter the Indian market, and one of the first
laptops to be launched is the Acer Swift 3. It is a thin and light laptop that
features a narrow bezel, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, Wake on Voice (WOV)
and more.
The Acer Swift 3 can be configured with
the AMD Ryzen 5 4500U Processor with Radeon Graphics, that is based on the Zen
2 architecture and built on the 7nm process node. RAM options go up to 16 GB
LPDDR4X and storage can be configured up to 1TB PCle Gen-3 NVMe SSD. Other
features include support for dual band Wi-Fi 6 with the 2 x 2 MIMO based Intel
Wireless AX200 card, Bluetooth 5.0, fingerprint reader and USB Gen 3.2 Type-C
ports.
The laptop’s chassis is made out of a
magnesium-aluminium alloy that lends to its light weight of just 1.2 kg,
measuring in at 15.95 mm at its thickest point. It features a 14-inch Full HD
IPS display that is surrounded by narrow bezels and the battery life is rated
at 11 hours. It’s fast charging capability can provide 4 hours of use with just
30 minutes of charge.
The Swift 3 is available in Silver colour,
starting from from Rs. 59,999 on Acer E-store and authorised retail outlets.
