vivo's Y series of affordable smartphones
grew larger by one member at the beginning of this month when the Y30 went
official in Malaysia. Today a new report comes to tell us to expect to see the
Y30 landing in India as well. Apparently the handset will make its way to the
subcontinent in the first week of June.
The information allegedly comes from vivo
officials, who nevertheless didn't want to be named. It's unclear exactly how
much it will cost in India, but expectations hover around the INR 15,000 mark.
The vivo Y30 has a 6.47" 720p+ LCD
touchscreen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, the Helio P35 chipset at the helm, 4GB of
RAM, 128GB of storage, a quad rear camera setup (13 MP main, 8 MP ultrawide, 2
MP depth sensor, 2 MP macro), an 8 MP selfie shooter housed in a screen
punch-hole in the upper left corner, and a 5,000 mAh battery. It runs Funtouch
10 with Android 10.
