After several leaks, The Umidigi S5 Pro
smartphone is finally here with compelling hardware specifications including a
pop-up selfie camera, 256GB internal storage, and FHD+ AMOLED display at a
competitive price of under US$ 300. The smartphone houses a MediaTek Helio G90T
SoC coupled with an octa-core processor and ARM Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. The
smartphone can easily handle graphics-intensive tasks and can provide blazingly
smooth experience while playing games such as PUBG and Fornite.
The liquid cooling system is efficient
enough to provide lag-free performance for longer periods and under high
temperatures. Umidigi S5 Pro will never compensate for performance as the
cooling system will regulate the temperature.
Umidigi S5 Pro comes with a 6GB RAM and
256 GB internal storage. It houses a nig 4680 mAh battery with 18W fast
charging. Moreover, users can make contactless payments using Google Pay or any
other payments app via NFC.
The smartphone carries a beautiful
notch-less 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint
sensor. Its display is efficient enough to provide A pop-up selfie camera that
will encase a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
There’s a quad rear camera module with a
48-megapixel primary camera for high-quality photos. Other sensors include a
16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 5-megapixel
depth lens. Umidigi S5 Pro includes a tweaked camera app with more features to
capture detailed photos.

Umidigi has added a 3D curved glass panel
on the back giving a more premium look. The smartphone is available in two color
options of Ocean Blue and Cosmic Black. The pricing and other details about its
availability are not yet out, but it will be made available under $300 in May.
